Job summary

Christian Brothers' High School Lewisham is seeking a dedicated HSIE teacher for 2027, permanent full-time. The successful applicant will specialise in Business Studies/Commerce/Legal Studies/Economics and inspire students to engage with the humanities.

You will work within a supportive faculty, contribute to co-curricular activities and pastoral care, and uphold the Edmund Rice tradition in line with Catholic education.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching HSIE to senior school students.
• Ability to teach Business Studies/Commerce/Legal Studies/Economics.

The successful applicant will be passionate about teaching HSIE and will be a specialist in either Business Studies/Commerce/Legal Studies/Economics. A committment to academic excellence, who can inspire students to develop an appreciation of the humanities and social sciences. They will foster curiosity about the past and the contemporary world, encourage critical thinking, and support students to become informed, engaged and responsible global citizens. The successful applicant will work collaboratively within a supportive faculty and contribute to the broader life of the School through co-curricular activities and pastoral care.
