Job summary

ECi Executive is partnering with an established WA contractor seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to oversee health, safety, environmental and quality functions across construction and mining infrastructure in Western Australia. The role is Perth metro-based and involves hands-on management of HSEQ systems, audits, and continuous improvement with operational teams.

You will lead audits, risk assessments and investigations, support senior management on safety performance, and ensure contractor

Qualifications

• HSEQ leadership experience in a senior role.
• Strong civil construction/mining infra or NPI project background.
• Qualifications in Work Health & Safety or Occupational Health & Safety.
• Experience leading HSEQ systems, audits and investigations.
• Proven ability to lead HSEQ personnel across multiple projects and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal and external audits, risk assessments and incident investigations
• Provide guidance and leadership to HSEQ personnel, Supervisors and operational teams
• Work closely with senior management to improve safety performance and operational compliance
• Oversee contractor and subcontractor compliance across construction activities
• Manage HSEQ reporting, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives

ECi Executive is partnering with an established WA contractor seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to join their Perth metro-based team.

This is an opportunity for a HSEQ professional to oversee health, safety, environmental and quality functions across construction and mining infrastructure operations throughout Western Australia.

The business is involved in a range of projects across the resources sector, including NPI. The successful candidate will take a hands‑on approach to managing HSEQ systems, supporting operational teams and driving continuous improvement across the business.

The Role

• Lead internal and external audits, risk assessments and incident investigations
• Provide guidance and leadership to HSEQ personnel, Supervisors and operational teams
• Work closely with senior management to improve safety performance and operational compliance
• Oversee contractor and subcontractor compliance across construction activities
• Manage HSEQ reporting, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

• Previous experience in an HSEQ Manager, HSE Manager or similar senior leadership role
• Strong background in civil construction, mining infrastructure or NPI projects
• Relevant qualifications in Work Health & Safety or Occupational Health & Safety
• Experience managing HSEQ systems, audits and incident investigations
• Proven ability to lead and support HSEQ personnel across multiple projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A practical, hands‑on approach to safety and operational risk management
