MACA is seeking an HSEQ Advisor to join our mining business in a permanent full-time position, working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth to the Karlawinda Gold Project.

The Karlawinda Gold Project is located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, 65km south-east of Newman. The role involves supporting health, safety and environment activities on site and driving safety improvements across the project team.

Competenze

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety.
• 3+ years in a site-based mining environment.
• National Police Clearance within 12 months.
• Experience delivering safety initiatives.
• ICAM Lead Investigator trained (desirable).
• Sound written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.

Mansioni

• Provide support and services associated with Health, Safety and Environment matters to the Project Manager and the Project Team.
• Coordinate site-based health, safety, and environment activities to ensure competence and wellbeing of people, equipment, and safe handling of materials.
• Ensure all personnel and subcontractors are instructed on safety procedures and systems and that they are complied with.
• Facilitate incident investigations, risk assessments and safety training producing high quality results.
• Develop and conduct Monthly Toolbox Talks.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections.
• Provide data-driven health & safety performance reports.
