Job summary

UGL Limited is seeking an experienced HSE Manager for a major renewable energy construction project near Wangaratta, Victoria. The role is site-based on a 10 days on / 4 days off roster with travel within company time, reporting to the Project Manager and guiding safety across the site.

You will lead the HSE team, coordinate with project leaders, supervisors and subcontractors, and drive incident investigations and continuous improvement in construction safety.

Qualifications

• Site-based HSE leadership on high-risk construction projects.
• Practical, visible leadership style with strong influencing skills.
• Relevant health and safety qualifications and knowledge of construction risk.
• Experience in renewables sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE across the project and provide direction to the site HSE team.
• Build relationships with project leaders, supervisors, contractors and workforce.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Monitor HSE performance to meet legislative, client and UGL requirements.
