Job summary

Northfleet in WA is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Coordinator to support ongoing development, implementation and continuous improvement of systems to boost HSE performance.

This hands-on role works with leaders to strengthen safety culture, support compliance and drive continual improvement. You’ll provide practical guidance, lead investigations (ICAM) and help ensure environmental compliance while travelling between WA sites.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in WHS (or equivalent).
• 3+ years hands-on WHS/HSE in operational environments.
• Knowledge of WA WHS Act 2020 and Regulations 2022.
• Experience leading root-cause investigations and risk assessments.
• Strong communication and coaching with frontline workers and leaders.
• Willingness to travel between WA sites with a valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HSE guidance to leaders and employees.
• Implement critical risk register results and field verifications with supervisors.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.
• Deliver HSE training and competency programs.
• Lead incident reporting and root-cause investigations (ICAM).
• Manage notifiable incidents within required timeframes.
