Job summary

Zinfra in Canberra is seeking an experienced HSE Business Partner to provide practical health, safety and risk guidance across a growing program of works in the ACT. This hands-on role involves field-based coaching, risk assessments and incident learning to keep people safe and projects on track.

You will work directly with operational leaders, frontline crews and contractors to translate HSE requirements into workable actions, while fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement in

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-risk industrial environment such as utilities, construction or electrical infrastructure.
• Experience implementing risk-based HSE systems and critical controls.
• Strong capability in field engagement, coaching and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage HSE risks in the field with operational leaders and contractors.
• Coach teams to strengthen HSE ownership and safe behaviours.
• Undertake inspections, audits and risk assessments; support HSE plans and critical controls.
• Lead incident investigations and drive learnings for improvements.
• Build relationships across operations and ensure practical safety processes.
