Job summary

Service Stream is seeking an experienced HSE Business Partner to join our Telecommunications HSE team in Queensland. This field-based role focuses on influencing safety behaviours, strengthening risk management and delivering safe work outcomes for field crews and subcontractors.

You will collaborate with operational leaders to drive continuous improvement, participate in audits and investigations, and promote a learning culture that prioritises practical safety decisions on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in an HSE role.
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent.
• Experience conducting workplace inspections, audits and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders, field teams and subcontractors to provide practical HSE advice, coaching and support.
• Maintain a strong field presence, conducting safety interactions, inspections and critical control verifications.
• Support incident investigations, identify contributing factors and drive meaningful improvements.
• Participate in audits, assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyse safety performance and emerging trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the implementation of HSE systems, standards and initiatives across telecommunications operations.
• Champion a positive learning culture in safety by encouraging open reporting, meaningful conversations and continuous improvement.
