Job summary

Service Stream is seeking an experienced HSE Business Partner to drive a strong safety culture across our telecommunications operations in Queensland. The role is predominantly field-based, partnering with operational leaders, field crews and subcontractors to influence positive safety behaviours and strengthen risk management.

You will build relationships, conduct safety interactions and lead investigations, audits and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting safe work outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in an HSE role.
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent.
• Experience conducting workplace inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Injury/incident investigation training, ICAM Lead Investigator preferred.
• Strong communication, problem solving and report writing skills.
• Current Australian driver's licence and Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders, field teams and subcontractors to provide practical HSE advice, coaching and support.
• Maintain a strong field presence with safety interactions, inspections and critical control verifications.
• Support incident investigations and drive meaningful improvements.
• Participate in audits, assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyse safety performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with the implementation of HSE systems and initiatives across telecommunications operations.
