Job summary

Winslow seeks a proactive OH&S professional to partner with project leads and our client to drive safety objectives and performance. You will implement safety policies, ensure compliance, and mitigate risk across projects.

Responsibilities include conducting safety audits, monitoring performance through data analysis, and guiding subcontractor management while mentoring teams toward safety excellence.

Qualifications

  • Cert. IV or higher qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • QSA auditor certificate or training & assessment qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Prior safety experience in civil construction.
  • Ability to drive safety targets with subcontractor and employee workforce.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental management systems standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with influence at multiple levels.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Strategic thinking aligned with client and local objectives.
  • Auditing and investigations of safety issues with improvement plans.

  • Implementation of Winslow’s safety policies and systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and mitigating risk.
  • Conducting safety audits.

  • Guidance on subcontractor management.
  • Providing continual support and coaching.
