Job summary

Winslow Constructors is seeking multiple civil labourers in the South-East region of Victoria for full-time roles. You will assist with trenching, pipe laying and site preparation, perform bulk earthworks and grade checks, and help maintain site grounds with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Eligible candidates will have civil construction experience, White Card, and a current driver’s license with reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Civil construction experience.
• Subdivision work experience is an advantage.
• White Card (Construction Induction) required.
• Current driver’s license and reliable transport.
• References available to verify experience.
• Experience with small plant and hand tools is a plus.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil construction tasks including trenching, pipe laying, backfilling and site prep.
• Carry out bulk earthworks and grade checking.
• Install temporary fencing and maintain site grounds.
• Perform spotting duties to ensure safety around plant and equipment.
• Operate hand-held and power tools when required.
• Operate small plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Undertake manual handling tasks and support foremen on site.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team to deliver quality outcomes.

The Opportunity

Based in the South-East region, Winslow Constructors is looking for multiple civil labourers to join the team! These are full-time roles offering above-award hourly rates, allowances and perks like RDO accruals and annual leave.

• Assist with a variety of civil construction tasks including trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, and site preparation
• Carry out bulk earthworks and grade checking
• Install temporary fencing and maintain site grounds
• Perform spotting duties to ensure safety around plant and equipment
• Operate hand-held and power tools when required
• Operate small plant and equipment safely and efficiently
• Undertake manual handling tasks and assist leading hands/foremen with any site requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols
• Work collaboratively with your team to deliver quality outcomes

Here's what we are looking for…

• Previous experience in civil construction or a similar industry
• Previous experience on subdivision work (advantageous)
• Plant tickets (advantageous but not required)
• Ability to provide references to support your experience
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Current driver's license and reliable transport
• Experience with small plant and hand tools
• A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
