Job summary

Icon is seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to join our ACT team on a fixed-term contract through to December, with potential extension. You will work on a large education project nearing completion, partnering with site teams, subcontractors and project leadership to ensure safe work practices across commissioning, fit-out and external works.

This hands-on safety role suits someone who enjoys on-site work, building relationships and driving a positive safety culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a HSE Coordinator, Safety Coordinator or similar role
• Construction industry experience is essential
• Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and site safety requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence and engage subcontractors and site teams
• Proactive and practical approach to safety

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site inductions and onboarding activities
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety observations
• Review SWMS and monitor subcontractor compliance
• Support the implementation of project safety initiatives and procedures

Support the Safe Delivery of a Education Project

We're seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator to join our ACT team on a fixed-term contract through to December, with the potential for extension.

Working on a large education project approaching completion, you'll partner closely with site teams, subcontractors and project leadership to ensure safe work practices are maintained across commissioning, fit-out and external works activities.

This is a hands‑on role for a safety professional who enjoys being out on site, building relationships and driving a positive safety culture.
