Job summary

Harry Maxwell is seeking a senior HSE leader to build and own the project HSE management system for a remote megaproject in Australia. You will establish a single safety standard across EPCs and drive critical risk programs across multiple domains, including earthworks, rail, and energy systems.

You will also design emergency, medical, and welfare responses for a 4,500-person village and ensure compliance with NT EPA and EPBC conditions, reporting directly to the project leadership team and

Qualifications

• 15+ years HSE leadership on remote megaprojects.
• Track record building HSE management systems.
• Ability to hold EPC contractors to a single standard.
• Knowledge of NT work health and safety legislation.
• Remote site emergency and aeromedical response experience.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Perth.

Responsibilities

• Build the Greenfield HSE management system across FEED, construction and commissioning.
• Set and enforce a single HSE standard across all EPCs.
• Own critical risk program across earthworks, rail interface, site aviation, HV energisation, BESS, large-scale work at height.
• Establish emergency, crisis and medical response for an isolated site.
• Ensure NT EPA and Commonwealth EPBC compliance.
