Sodexo is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support its Global Strategic Accounts in Eastern Australia. You will provide expert HSE guidance, conduct audits, support investigations and drive compliance with the HSEQ Management System and client requirements.

You will collaborate with operational leaders to strengthen safety culture, deliver continuous improvement and leverage Enablon and other systems to optimise HSE outcomes across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Workplace Health & Safety.
• 3–5 years' experience in a Health, Safety & Environment, Compliance or Assurance role.
• Experience conducting audits, assurance activities and compliance reviews.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and HSE Management Systems.
• Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead investigations, risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Provide operational HSE support across the GSA portfolio, including mobilisation and ongoing delivery.
• Support tender submissions with HSE plans and risk assessments.
• Coach leaders to improve HSE capability and performance.
• Conduct risk assessments, HAZIDs and Management of Change activities.
• Support incident investigations and corrective action verification.
• Develop HSE communications and safety campaigns.
• Run a risk-based HSE Assurance Program for Eastern Australia.
• Perform internal and client audits and supplier verifications.
• Monitor legislative, contractual and system compliance.
• Verify corrective actions from audits and investigations.
• Participate in ISO 45001/14001/9001 certification audits.
• Analyse audit findings to identify systemic risks.
• Prepare assurance reports for leadership.
• Assist implementation of digital HSE initiatives (e.g., Enablon).
