Job summary

PHE Mining is seeking a motivated HSE Advisor for a permanent, full-time on-site role. This position supports safety leadership across our operations in the Bathurst region, with regular overtime and a local travel scope.

You will lead WHS&E practices, manage audits, and oversee workers' compensation matters while staying compliant with WHS laws and company policies. The role requires industrial construction experience and a proactive safety approach.

Qualifications

• Experience as a HSE Advisor on Industrial Electrical construction projects.
• Able to identify and resolve complex problems in a timely manner.
• Excellent attitude to safety and strong leadership in safety.
• Solid knowledge of WHS and Environmental legislation, standards and code of practice.
• Highly organised with impeccable attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; able to produce clear reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead WHS&E initiatives across site to drive continuous improvement and best practice management.
• Conduct training needs analysis and manage internal audit programs with management.
• Prepare reports, collect data and evidence of site compliance.
• Manage workers' compensation matters, including rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.
