Job summary

MPC Kinetic in Surat Basin, QLD, Australia, is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment professional to join our field operations. The role focuses on ensuring OHS goals are understood, implemented and monitored across sites.

You will support subcontractors and field teams with risk controls and safety guidance. Ideal candidates have a Diploma/Certificate in OHS, TAE, First Aid/CPR, and a valid Class C driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years health and safety experience in a similar role.
• Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110).
• Lead Auditor OHS Management Systems (Desirable).
• First Aid/CPR and a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ensuring OHS goals are understood, communicated, monitored and measured.
• Maintain a library of safety/resource materials for staff and employees.
• Review and improve HS&E systems to meet MPK IMS requirements.
• Support management of subcontractors in the field.
• Provide safety guidance and check risk controls in operation.
• Support audits, hazard reports and incident investigations.
• Coordinate and manage HSET reporting within project timeframes.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and toolbox talks.
• Assist with return-to-work procedures for injured workers.
