Job summary

Morson Edge Australia is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support a major wind farm project near Mudgee, NSW. You will oversee safety across civil, electrical and construction activities and drive compliance with WHS requirements.

The role offers $70–$80 per hour on a casual ongoing contract, with a 3:1 roster and accommodation and meals provided. Drive-in/drive-out arrangements may apply and you will collaborate with project management, supervisors and subcontractors to foster a strong

Qualifications

• Previous HSE Advisor experience within construction, civil infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
• Wind farm or large-scale renewable energy project experience highly regarded.
• Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety.
• Strong understanding of WHS legislation, SWMS and high-risk construction activities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with site teams and subcontractors.
• Current White Card and driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HSE compliance across wind farm construction activities.
• Review and implement SWMS, JHAs, risk assessments and safety management plans.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, toolbox talks and pre-start meetings.
• Monitor high-risk activities, including civil works, lifting operations, working at heights and electrical installations.
• Manage incident investigations, hazard reporting and corrective actions.
• Support subcontractor management, inductions and compliance with project safety requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale wind farm development, supporting site safety across civil, electrical and construction activities. The successful candidate will work closely with project management, supervisors and subcontractors to ensure a strong safety culture and compliance with all WHS requirements.
