Job summary

MuraConnect is seeking an experienced Solution Architect (HRIS) to lead end-to-end architecture for a major HR system upgrade in Queensland. You will drive technical leadership across the program, focusing on HR, Payroll and Workforce Management solutions, while aligning with enterprise standards and security requirements.

You will collaborate with project managers, analysts and vendors to ensure secure, scalable, integrated designs and seamless go-live and operational handover.

Qualifications

• Experience designing end-to-end solution architectures across HRIS and ERP programs.
• Proven ability leading architecture decisions and non-functional requirements.
• Strong knowledge of security, privacy and compliance in enterprise systems.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Ability translate business needs into technical architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end solution architectures across business, information, application and technology domains.
• Define HRIS solution designs aligned with business objectives, enterprise standards and other major technology programs.
• Own the overall technical approach and leading architecture decision‑making.
• Identify and manage architecturally significant requirements and non‑functional requirements.
• Provide technical leadership across solution design, vendor deliverables and implementation activities.
• Support integration of new functionality with existing systems and business processes.
• Embed security, privacy, resilience, accessibility and compliance requirements into solution design.
• Chair technical review groups and document key architecture decisions and technical trade‑offs.
• Working across Information Security, UX, Data & Analytics, Networks and other technical teams to validate solution designs.
• Managing technical risks, issues, dependencies and design decisions throughout delivery.
• Coordinating external vendors and suppliers to ensure technical deliverables align with architectural requirements.
