Real Pet Food Company is seeking a Payroll & People Systems Specialist to join our growing team in Sydney. This role goes beyond payroll, focusing on HRIS and payroll data integrity within UKG Ready and Payroll Metrics, with opportunities to streamline workflows.

You will bridge Payroll, People & Culture, and external providers, driving governance, data accuracy, and process improvements while maintaining compliance and strong controls.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience in an in‑house payroll and/or people systems environment.
• Experience with Time and Attendance processes in a multi‑award environment.
• Understand end‑to‑end payroll data flows and system configurations.
• Strong governance, compliance and data integrity mindset.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support payroll and people systems, including data and settings.
• Ensure data accuracy across HRIS (UKG Ready) and payroll system (Payroll Metrics).
• Investigate issues at their source and improve workflows.
• Maintain controls, documentation and reporting for governance.
• Collaborate with Payroll, People & Culture, Operations and external providers.
• Support system changes, testing upgrades and validation of outcomes.
