The Real Pet Food Company (RPF) is seeking a Payroll & People Systems Specialist to join our payroll and HR systems team in Sydney. You’ll run payroll when required and act as the system integrity champion across UKG Ready and Payroll Metrics, ensuring data accuracy, governance and compliant processes.

With a curiosity for systems, you’ll analyse data flows, validate configurations and partner with Payroll, People & Culture and vendors to streamline workflows and strengthen controls for smarter,

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in an in-house payroll and/or people systems environment.
• Experience with UKG Ready or similar payroll/workforce management platform.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and data flows.
• Governance, compliance and data accuracy are essential.

Responsabilités

• Administer and support payroll and people systems, including configurations and employee data.
• Understand how data entry impacts payroll outcomes and downstream processes.
• Maintain data integrity, validate configurations and ensure governance alignment.
• Identify gaps, control weaknesses and opportunities to reduce manual work and risk.
• Troubleshoot system errors with Payroll, HR and vendors to prevent recurrence.
• Support system changes, testing upgrades, and validate new functionality.
• Maintain documentation, procedures, and reconciliations.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes and automation across systems.
