Qualifications

• Valid Australian Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant truck driving experience.
• Good understanding of Australian road rules, transport regulations and fatigue management.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Physically capable of performing loading and unloading duties.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Forklift License.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy rigid (HR) truck to transport goods safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring cargo is properly secured.
• Plan and follow delivery routes to meet scheduled delivery times.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks and other transport documentation.
• Comply with road transport regulations, fatigue management requirements and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers and other team members.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition.
