Job summary

Mr Metal Recycling is seeking an HR Truck Driver to support our waste management and recycling operations in NSW. This full-time role is based in Taren Point and involves operating heavy vehicles to collect and deliver materials safely and efficiently.

You will perform daily inspections, keep accurate trip records, and provide excellent customer service while contributing to continuous improvements in our logistics network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience operating heavy vehicles in a commercial/industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of road rules, vehicle safety and load restraint requirements.
• Excellent driving history and documentation where required.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy vehicles to transport materials and goods.

Job description

As an HR Truck Driver at Mr Metal Recycling, you will play a vital role in the transportation of materials and goods across our waste management and recycling operations. This full-time position with overtime (and rotating Saturdays) is based in Taren Point, NSW and involves operating heavy vehicles to collect and deliver a range of materials in a safe, efficient and timely manner.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operate a range of heavy vehicles to transport materials and goods
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations
• Load and unload vehicles at various collection and delivery points
• Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries and vehicle usage
• Provide excellent customer service to clients
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our logistics and transportation operations

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience (2+ years) operating heavy vehicles in a commercial or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of road rules, vehicle safety, and load restraint requirements
• Excellent driving skills and history (documentation will be required)
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A commitment to safety
