Job summary

Linfox is seeking a motivated HR truck driver for our East Arm NT operation. You will operate an HR truck, complete daily loads, and deliver to local customers, following safety standards and Linfox policies.

The role offers a regular day-shift roster, with Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday starts; some flexibility is required. Strong communication and safety practices are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid HR license.
• LF license is highly desired and advantageous.
• Demonstrated customer service and effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with road transport legislation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate HR truck and complete multiple loads per day.
• Deliver to local customers while maintaining safety standards.
• Adhere to rostered start times and day shift pattern.
• Apply correct load restraints and manual handling techniques.
• Communicate with team, managers and customers daily.

What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit are currently seeking a motivated and flexible HR truck driver to join the team located in East Arm NT. As a part of this role, you will be required to operate our HR truck completing a number of loads per day while safely delivering a variety of products to our local customers. We currently have a full-time position available on day shift with allocated start times working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Wed & Sun off). Key Areas:

• Driving to Linfox Safety Standards at all times and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus.
• Available to work a consistent roster Monday to Friday on day shift plus weekends
• Completing correct load restraints and manual handling techniques.
• Ability to work & communicate effectively with team members, managers & customers on a day-to-day basis.
• Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation.
