Job summary

Uniting is seeking an HR System Release Manager to establish release management across our HR systems, with quarterly Dayforce releases, ongoing enhancements, hotfixes and the broader technology roadmap.

You will own the integrated release calendar and coordinate end-to-end release planning, governance, testing, deployment and post-release activities, collaborating with technology teams, product owners, vendors and HR specialists to bring structure and visibility to a busy release schedule.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end releases across complex enterprise systems, digital platforms or technology environments.
• Strong planning and coordination skills, including managing competing priorities, dependencies and multiple releases.
• Experience applying release, change, deployment, testing and service transition disciplines within structured governance frameworks.
• Ability to identify and manage release risks, defects, issues and operational impacts.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an integrated release calendar covering Dayforce product releases, roadmap and hotfixes.
• Coordinate end-to-end release planning, including scope, sequencing, dependencies, milestones and deployment arrangements.
• Assess release readiness, manage risks and resolve issues related to testing, data and business impact.
• Provide clear release communications, status updates and visibility of decisions and dependencies.
• Coordinate deployment activities, go/no-go decisions, post-release support and lessons learned.
