Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Lead Payroll professional to oversee daily payroll operations within a NSW context, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and high-quality service delivery. You will motivate a payroll team, drive workflow modernization, analyse payroll data, and produce stakeholder-ready reports for management and regulatory bodies.

You will also contribute to policy improvements, ensure compliance with Aboriginal Education Policy, and uphold the NSW AECG Partnership Agreement, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline, or demonstrated successful experience in stakeholder/customer engagement in a Shared Services/Payroll environment
• Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
• Knowledge of payroll operations, data analysis and validation, reporting, workflows, technologies, policies and compliance
• Commitment to implementing Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding Partnership Agreement with NSW AECG
• Australian work rights and pre-employment screening requirements

Requirements
