Job summary

JBS Cobram Plant is seeking a Human Resource Officer to provide comprehensive HR and workforce planning support across the business. The role involves staffing, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR reporting, and maintaining employee records.

Hours are rotational, starting between 4:30am–12:30pm and 8:00am–4:00pm on a rotating basis, with an on-site presence in Cobram. The position emphasises timely HR advice, administrative support, analytics, and compliance with HR

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• Experience in HR, Employee Relations or People & Culture support roles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support workforce planning by assisting HR with labour coordination and shift staffing.
• Maintain recruitment pools, workforce planning records, attendance monitoring systems.
• Provide administrative support for onboarding, medical clearances, return-to-work documentation, and separations.
• Prepare, analyse and distribute workforce and HR reports (turnover, absenteeism, etc.).
• Provide guidance and administrative support to managers and employees on HR policies and issues.
• Assist in performance management processes through advice and documentation.
