Job summary

Lactalis Australia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to partner with site leaders across Harvey Fresh and Forrestdale to drive business performance and a high-engagement culture.

You will lead all HR processes, provide expert ER and IR guidance, coach managers on performance and employee relations, and manage Enterprise Agreement negotiations with unions, ensuring compliant, practical people solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HR professional with strong ER and IR expertise who enjoys partnering with operational leaders and influencing positive people outcomes.
• Experience as HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner with multi-site scope.

• Drive recruitment, onboarding, talent and succession planning activities.
• Engage with Learning & Development to plan, budget and track training needs for the site.

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team, partnering with leaders and employees across our Harvey Fresh and Forrestdale sites to drive business performance and foster a high-engagement culture.

Reporting to the Site Manager, with a dotted line to the Head of HR - Industrial, you will partner with leaders and employees to deliver high impact HR and IR solutions that drive business performance and foster a culture aligned to Lactalis values.

This is a true business partnering role, providing expert advice and support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle while leading strategic HR initiatives, employee relations matters and industrial negotiations. You will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, managers and employees, helping build leadership capability and create a positive and engaged workforce.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead all HR processes and initiatives across the Harvey Fresh and Forrestdale sites.

• Coach and support leaders on performance management and employee relations.

About you:

You are a hands-on HR professional with strong ER and IR expertise who enjoys partnering with operational leaders and influencing positive people outcomes. You will bring:

• Experience in a HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner role.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex ER and IR matters.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coaching and negotiation skills.
• The ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
