Job summary

WorkPac Group in Australia is seeking an experienced Hook truck operator for casual roles based in Biloela, covering local runs to Rockhampton, Gladstone, Chinchilla and surrounding areas. The role involves operating a hook collection vehicle, maintaining vehicle presentation, and performing routine safety checks.

You must hold a current HR licence (or Class 4 NZ), a valid driver's licence, and have prior hook truck experience. Waste industry experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Current Drivers License required.
• Heavy Rigid (HR) licence mandatory; Class 4 (NZ) acceptable.
• Experience operating a Hook collection vehicle.
• Experience in the waste industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a hook truck and other vehicles in accordance with training, procedures and company regulations.
• Ensure vehicle presentation, inside and out, is maintained to a high standard.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle/equipment as required.
• Cover local areas including Rockhampton, Gladstone and Chinchilla as needed.

Our client is a leading provider of industrial and environmental services, delivering safe and efficient waste management, cleaning and maintenance solutions across the resources, manufacturing and industrial sectors.

What you will be doing:

• Role would be operating a hook truck based in Biloela but would involve driving trucks locally as well as covering areas such as Rockhampton, Gladstone, Chinchilla, etc.
• Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations
• Ensure presentation of vehicle, inside and out is of a high standard
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and/or equipment as and when required
• Service Construction & Industrial in Nowra area

What you will need:

• Current Drivers License
• Heavy Rigid (HR) (AUS) or Class 4 (NZ) Licence (as a minimum)
• Experience operating a Hook collection vehicle
• Experience in the waste industry desirable
