Roadmaster Refrigerated Transport – Orange NSW is seeking an HR Driver to join our team. You will safely operate refrigerated trucks and ensure on-time, intact deliveries across our regional network. This casual role offers immediate start with notice periods accepted.

Applicants must hold a valid HR Licence, be physically fit, and willing to learn electronic reporting devices. A strong Think Safe attitude is valued.

Formación

• HR Licence required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in road transport.
• Ability to provide a current traffic report.
• Physically fit for manual unloading.
• Ability to operate a heavy vehicle safely and professionally.
• Punctual, reliable and courteous.
• Willingness to learn and be trained on electronic reporting devices.
• Strong Think Safe attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operating and maintaining refrigerated transport vehicles to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition
• Adhering to road transport regulations and company policies to ensure compliance
• Monitoring vehicle performance and conducting regular inspections to identify and address any issues
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods at pickup and delivery points
• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with clients
• Collaborating with the broader transport and logistics team to ensure seamless operations

About the role

As a HR Driver, you will play a crucial role in our road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the region. Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating and maintaining refrigerated transport vehicles to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition
• Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies to ensure compliance
• Monitoring vehicle performance and conducting regular inspections to identify and address any issues
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods at pickup and delivery points
• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive relationships with clients
• Collaborating with the broader transport and logistics team to ensure seamless operations

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

• Valid HR Licence
• Minimum 1 years experience in Road Transport (Refrigerated Transport experience high regarded)
• Ability to provide a current traffic report
• Physical fitness for manual unloading
• Ability to operate a heavy vehicle in a professional & safe manner
• A punctual, reliable and courteous approach to all tasks
• Ability to pass a medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing
• A willingness to learn and be trained on electronic equipment, such as tablets, for reporting and monitoring driving hoursAstrong Think Safeattitude
