Job summary

Engage Us is seeking an experienced HR Driver / Multi-System Operator for our Morningside operations. You will operate a range of vehicles (Hook Lift, Rear Lift, Pantech) in a busy waste and resource recovery setting, with ongoing work through to at least February 2027.

Role offers stable daytime hours, typically 7:00am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work. Ability to work independently and maintain high vehicle standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted HR licence (or equivalent Class 4 NZ licence).
• Previous experience operating heavy vehicles.
• Hook Lift experience highly desirable.
• Waste industry experience advantageous.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent safety awareness.
• Good work ethic and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a range of collection and transport vehicles.
• Complete daily pre-start, maintenance and safety checks.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean and presented to a high standard.
• Safely load, transport and unload materials as required.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Report vehicle or equipment issues promptly.
• Work efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and service.
