Job summary

Engage Us in Mackay is seeking experienced HR Drivers to join our busy waste and resource recovery operation. This temp-to-permanent role offers consistent weekday hours and overtime opportunities. You will operate Front Lift and Hook Lift collection vehicles, perform safety checks, and transport loads to recycling and disposal facilities.

A current HR licence and clean driving record are essential. The position is Mackay-based with potential to move permanent; Saturdays may be required and some

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted HR licence (or equivalent Class 4 NZ licence).
• A clean driving record.
• Previous heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Ability to multitask in a busy operational environment.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• A strong commitment to safety and a Zero Harm mindset.
• Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays when required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate Front Lift and Hook Lift collection vehicles.
• Transporting loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Completing daily pre-start, maintenance and safety checks.
• Safely loading and unloading the vehicle.
• Interacting professionally with customers and site personnel.

Temp to Permanent | Monday to Friday | 5:00am – 1:00pm | Overtime Available

Are you an experienced HR Driver looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with the potential to move permanent?

We are currently seeking Multi System Operators (MSO) to join a busy waste and resource recovery operation based in Mackay.

This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity offering consistent weekday hours, an excellent hourly rate and overtime opportunities.

What's on Offer

• $45.45 per hour – Waste Award Grade 8
• Monday to Friday, 5:00am – 1:00pm
• Overtime available as required
• Saturday generally used as a catch-up day if required
• Temp-to-permanent opportunity
• Mackay-based role

About the Role

• Operating Front Lift and Hook Lift collection vehicles
• Operating company collection vehicles and equipment
• Transporting loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities
• Completing daily pre-start, maintenance and safety checks
• Safely loading and unloading the vehicle
• Operating vehicle controls manually
• Interacting professionally with customers and site personnel
• Following all safety and operational procedures

About You

• Current unrestricted HR licence (or equivalent Class 4 NZ licence)
