Job summary

Cleanaway is recruiting for an experienced HR Driver at our Tullamarine depot. You will operate a side-lift truck on municipal contracts, perform loading/unloading of waste, and deliver to recycling and disposal facilities.

The role requires a HR licence with at least 12 months experience, a clean driving record, and willingness to undergo pre-employment medicals and drug tests. Early morning start around 5am, with potential overtime and a committed safety mindset.

• Strong work background; waste industry experience preferred.
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing.
• Available for an early 5:00am start and a clean driving record.

The Opportunity

Based out of our Tullamarine depot, this role involves operating a side-lift truck. It can be physically demanding, with an expectation that you will regularly exit the truck to move bins throughout your run.

• Side lift collection vehicle for municipal contracts
• Performing loading and unloading duties of waste
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

You are an experienced licenced HR driver

• Must have a HR LICENCE with at least 12 months experience
• Strong work background - Waste would be amazing
• Side lift experience desirable but not essential - Will train the right candidate
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
• Must be available for an early morning start 5.00am
• Clean driving record.
