Job summary

Alcoa Australia is hiring a HR Coordinator on a 6-month fixed-term contract at Huntly Mine in WA. You will support a broad range of HR initiatives, including learning, labour relations and training requirements, with a focus on efficiency and policy adherence across WA locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
• Commitment to delivering HR outcomes with discretion and confidentiality.
• Understanding of Australian employment law is desirable.
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly HR analytics and reports for site management.
• Provide guidance on HR legislation and company policies.
• Coordinate internal and external training programs and deployment.
• Compile monthly training compliance reports for all functional groups.
• Assist with drafting/updating position descriptions.
• Manage weekly People Movement approvals and documentation.
• Facilitate HR communications, focus groups and feedback sessions.
• Oversee learning guides and LMS records across mining locations.
