Job summary

Agrifutures is seeking an HR Advisor to join our People and Culture team in Queensland. This hands-on role supports leaders, managers and staff across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to records management and award interpretation.

You will work closely with an experienced HR Business Partner, gain exposure to high-volume HR processes, and have room to grow toward a full HR Advisor level as you build expertise in healthcare and regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR generalist support or recruitment
• Knowledge of Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards desirable
• Healthcare/aged care exposure is a plus, not required

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate advice to employees and managers on recruitment, onboarding, awards, leave and people matters
• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment including advertising, screening, shortlisting, interviewing and reference checks
• Prepare employment agreements and variation letters
• Assist managers with applying Award conditions for hours, rostering, leave and penalty rates
• Manage onboarding logistics, HRIS data entry and first-week support for new starters
• Maintain accurate employee records and compliance documentation
• Contribute to improving People and Culture systems, processes and templates
