Job summary

The Tenancy and Property Officer role is a client facing position which supports the delivery of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing's housing program and play a vital role in supporting client-centred services to individuals and families who seek housing assistance or reside in public housing.

Based in offices across Victoria, the role undertakes tenancy and property management and the provision of housing advice.

Qualifications

• Assess clients' housing needs using established policy, procedures and standards.
• Prepare routine cases with established procedures for representation at VCAT.
• Apply early intervention strategies to sustain tenancies.
