Job summary

Silk Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Bondi Beach. This permanent part-time role requires leadership of the housekeeping team, ensuring rooms and public areas meet 4- to 5-star standards, with a hands-on approach to daily operations and guest satisfaction.

We offer an hourly rate with superannuation paid on all hours worked, weekend penalty rates, and ongoing training and career development opportunities across Australia’s leading hospitality provider.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping and/or supervisory experience.
• Available to work 5 days per week and a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Professional presentation with a strong focus on quality and guest satisfaction.
• Reliable, proactive and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Silk Hospitality is a leading provider of housekeeping services to hotels across Australia. We take pride in delivering exceptional service and are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Bondi Beach.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and support the housekeeping team to consistently deliver 4 to 5-star service standards.
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas are presented to the highest standard, including detailed cleaning, bed making, and replenishment of amenities.
• Supervise daily operations, including room allocations, inspections, and team productivity.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of work areas, service pantries, and public spaces.
• Oversee linen control, including sorting, counting, and stock management.
• Uphold guest privacy, security, and confidentiality at all times.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety procedures and promptly report any hazards or maintenance issues.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and team members, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Provide hands-on support and assist with operational requirements as needed.

About You

• Previous housekeeping and/or supervisory experience.
• Flexibility to work across 5 days per week, including weekends if required.
• Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
