Minor Hotels in Nelson Bay is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor for a casual role. You will oversee guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards.

As the lead of the housekeeping team, you will train, supervise and support staff, manage daily logs and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations across shifts, including weekends.

Housekeeping Supervisor (Casual)

Oaks Nelson Bay Lure Suites is currently looking for a hard-working, dedicated and experienced individual for the role of Housekeeping Supervisor on a casual basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet cleanliness and high presentation standards.
• Supervise and support the housekeeping team, promoting a productive and professional workplace culture.
• Oversee on-the-job training to ensure consistent procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate housekeeping records, including daily logs, inventory reports, and maintenance requests.
• Collaborate with other departments and contractors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in supervising or managing housekeeping operations.
• Experience controlling and maintaining budgets, all operating supplies, replacements and consumables.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• A sharp eye for detail and the ability to set and uphold high cleanliness standards.

Shift Details (subject to change)

Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday Must be available to work weekends Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

• Monday - Friday: $34.96 per hour
• Saturday: $41.96 per hour
• Sunday: $48.95 per hour
