Job summary

Mantra Club Croc, part of Accor, in Airlie Beach, Whitsundays, seeks a Housekeeping Manager to uphold excellent guest standards of cleanliness and safety. You will lead a skilled team to deliver a consistently exceptional first impression for guests across all rooms and public areas.

You will oversee daily operations, set cleaning standards, manage inventory and budgets, and ensure chemical safety compliance. Flexible scheduling, hands-on leadership, and a passion for hospitality are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in housekeeping.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team guidance.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation abilities.
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the entire housekeeping department.
• Implement cleaning standards and foster productivity, motivation, and professional growth among all Housekeeping Team Members.
• Procurement of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping-related inventory while managing budgets & controlling expenses.
• Adhere to compliance with chemical safety and Occupational Health & Safety regulations; ensure that all team members follow safety protocols.
• Track labour expenses and productivity relative to occupancy rates, while also conducting daily inspections to assess room cleanliness standards.
