Job summary

Journey Beyond is seeking a casual Shore-Based Cleaner/Housekeeping Attendant to maintain the Murray Princess's guest cabins and public spaces. You will work with a close-knit hospitality team, ensuring rooms are serviced to the highest standards to contribute to memorable guest experiences.

You will bring housekeeping experience, strong guest service, and the ability to stay active and efficient during busy shifts, with pride in cleanliness and presentation aboard the Murray Princess.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Good guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Physically capable of the job’s demands.

• Clean and service guest cabins, including beds and bathrooms.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public guest areas.

About The Role:

We are seeking a casual Shore-Based Cleaner/Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key role in maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of guest accommodation aboard the Murray Princess. Working as part of a close-knit hospitality team, you’ll ensure cabins and guest spaces are serviced to the highest standards, contibuting to great guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and service guest cabins, including making beds, changing linen and cleaning bathrooms.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of public guest areas.
• Complete deep cleaning and general housekeeping duties.
• Deliver friendly, professional service and assist in creating positive guest experiences.

About You

You will be reliable, hardworking and take pride in maintaining high standards. You’re comfortable working independently, enjoy being active throughout the day and have a genuine commitment to guest service.

To be successful in this position, you will bring:

• Previous experience in housekeeping.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Physical fitness to undertake the demands of the role.
