Waterview Gosford Motor Inn is seeking reliable, hardworking housekeepers to join our team in West Gosford, NSW. We provide clean, comfortable rooms and value attention to detail and teamwork.

Casual positions offer 2–4 shifts per week with daytime hours typically from 9am to 1–2pm. Availability on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays is essential. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred and Australian work rights are required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining consistent standards.
• Reliability, punctuality and respectful communication.
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties.
• Ability to travel reliably to West Gosford for rostered shifts.
• Australian work rights appropriate for the role.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing guest rooms and bathrooms to a high standard.
• Making beds, changing linen and replenishing guest supplies.
• Assisting with laundry, including washing, drying, folding and ironing linen.
• Keeping common areas clean and tidy.
• Reporting maintenance issues and following safe cleaning procedures.
• Working with the housekeeping supervisor and team to have rooms ready on time.

Hours and availability

• Casual positions offering approximately 2–4 shifts per week, depending on occupancy and availability.

• Daytime shifts generally starting at 9am and finishing around 1–2pm, depending on the day’s workload.

• Availability on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays is essential.

What you’ll be doing

• Cleaning and preparing guest rooms and bathrooms to a high standard.

Pay, paid trials and training

Paid at Hospitality Industry (General) Award Level 2 casual rates:

• Monday–Friday: $33.85 per hour

• Saturday: $40.62 per hour

These rates include casual loading and, for Saturdays, the Saturday penalty. Superannuation is additional. Sunday and public holiday penalty rates apply when worked.

Selected applicants will be invited to a paid trial shift. Paid training in our cleaning standards, equipment and procedures will also be provided. All trial and training hours will be paid at the applicable Level 2 casual rate.
