Quest Eight Mile Plains is a modern apartment hotel offering guests the comfort of home with the convenience of hotel-style services. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional guest experiences in a clean, stylish, and welcoming environment.

Your role will involve providing housekeeping and room attendant services for apartments and maintaining common areas, ensuring the property meets the high standards of the Quest Brand. We are looking for someone available to work 15+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, changing linen, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
• Ensure all rooms are well-stocked with supplies such as towels, soap, shampoo, and toilet paper.
• Check and report any maintenance issues or damages in rooms to the housekeeping supervisor.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring they meet hygiene standards.
• Respond to guest requests for additional amenities or services, providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure all public areas, including hallways and stairwells, are clean and well-maintained.
• Follow safety protocols, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude toward guests and colleagues
• Assist with other housekeeping-related duties or special requests as needed.

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
• Organised & Efficient: manages time effectively, prioritise workloads and complete allocated rooms within required timeframes
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends
• Reliable & Punctual: understands the importance of attendance, punctuality and being dependable in a busy hotel environment
• Positive Attitude: approaches daily responsibilities with enthusiasm, professionalism and a willingness to help others
• Quality Focused: understands the importance of presentation, cleanliness and maintaining high accommodation standards for guests
• Physically Fit:comfortable with the physical demands of housekeeping, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, pushing equipment and repetitive tasks
