Banksia Tourist Park in Hazelmere is seeking a friendly, reliable housekeeper for a casual role. The successful candidate will be well organised, able to multitask and maintain high standards of cleanliness across accommodation, amenities and common areas.

The role involves approximately 20–30 hours per week with shifts Monday to Sunday, including public holidays. A current driver’s license and Australian work rights are required, with police clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is required.
• Well organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Presentable, courteous and professional.
• Proactive, with a strong work ethic and initiative.
• Friendly, energetic attitude and willingness to help the team.
• Current police clearance and right to work in Australia.

Responsabilités

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of accommodation.
• Restock amenities and keep staff kitchen tidy.
• Assist with linen changes and guest supplies.
• Sweep verandas, entryways and common areas.
• Empty bins and remove rubbish as required.
• Spot-clean windows and glass doors as needed.
• Report maintenance issues to management.

Job Description

Banksia Tourist Park is a family-run tourist park and lifestyle village for over 55s, based in Hazelmere. We offer onsite and short-stay accommodation, permanent sites and a welcoming community environment for our guests, residents and visitors.

We are looking for a friendly, capable and reliable housekeeper who is well organised, efficient and able to multitask with excellent attention to detail.

As a family-run business, we value good service, teamwork and a positive attitude. The right person will be welcomed, supported and made to feel part of the team while learning the role.

The Role

• Immediate start
• Casual role, with approximately 20-30 hours per week. Hours may vary depending on the operational needs of the business.
• Available Monday to Sunday, including public holidays.
• Weekday shifts will vary depending on the operational needs of the business
• Weekend shifts are usually 10.00am – 2.00pm, approximately every second or third weekend

Duties

• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of accommodation.
• Cleaning and restocking amenities as required.
• Keeping the staff kitchen and lunchroom clean and tidy.
• Assisting with linen changes and replenishing guest supplies.
• Sweeping verandas, entryways and common areas.
• Emptying bins and removing rubbish as required.
• Spot-cleaning windows, glass doors and other shared areas.
• Restocking housekeeping supplies and keeping storage areas organised.
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage or safety hazards to management.
• Assisting with other general cleaning duties as required.

About You

• Previous Housekeeping experience
• Well organised, efficient and able to multitask with excellent attention to detail
• A current driver’s licence is required
