Job summary

Supporting Independent Living Co-operative Ltd. in NSW seeks an experienced House Manager to lead a SIL home for two young men in their early twenties with non-verbal Level 3 autism.

This full‑time role combines 3 admin/leadership days (24 hours) with 2 on‑floor support days (14 hours), and requires a hands‑on, values‑driven leader focused on person‑centred supports grounded in active support. You will work closely with families, behaviour practitioners, and allied health professionals to enable

Qualifications

• 3+ years in disability or residential care.
• Experience leading and managing teams.
• NDIS knowledge and person-centred approach.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Embed NDIS values in culture and practice.
• Lead and develop the support team in the home.
• Oversee daily house operations and rostering.
• Provide direct resident support including personal care.
• Coordinate with families and health professionals.
• Support access to community and day programs.
