Job summary

Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN) is seeking a casual Services Assistant to support catering, cleaning and laundry services across our health unit. You will help prepare, serve and deliver meals, maintain cleanliness and assist with utility services to support staff and clients.

Qualifications

• Limited experience in housekeeping, cooking/catering and laundry.
• Basic knowledge of safe working conditions.

• Basic knowledge of Infection Control Standards, including cleaning and sanitizing processes.
• Basic knowledge and commitment to customer service principles.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

As a Services Assistant, you will provide high-quality support in catering, cleaning, and laundry services across the health unit. You will assist in the preparation, service, and delivery of meals, maintain cleanliness, and ensure the efficient operation of utility services to support staff and clients.

Working as part of a team, you may also assist with minor repairs, equipment operation, and routine housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and functional environment. This role provides exposure to a variety of duties, including food handling, laundry, and general cleaning, allowing you to develop broad practical experience in health service support.
