Job summary

Lutheran Services is seeking a dedicated Cleaning, Laundry & Kitchenhand at St Andrews Aged Care in Tallebudgera, QLD. The casual role (~30hrs/fortnight) offers on-site work with rostering across seven days and short-notice coverage.

You’ll help keep living areas fresh, support meals and dishwashing, and assist with laundry to create a welcoming home for residents. Ideal candidates will have experience as a Cleaner, Laundry Assistant or Kitchen Hand, with aged care experience highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cleaner, Laundry Assistant, Kitchen Hand or similar.
• Aged care experience highly regarded.
• Compassionate and committed to respectful, person-centred care.
• Flexible, reliable and willing to cover shifts at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms and communal areas.
• Provide catering support including food prep, meal service and dishwashing.
• Perform laundry duties: washing, folding and distributing linen and clothing.
• Support rostered shifts across a 7-day period and assist when needed.
• Contribute to a safe, hygienic environment for residents and staff.
