Qualifications

• Previous experience as kitchen hand or similar in a hotel, pub, restaurant, or café.
• Strong understanding of food safety and OH&S standards.
• Ability to support daily kitchen operations efficiently and follow directions from senior chefs.
• Minimize waste through careful handling of food and resources.
• Positive attitude with strong communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support daily kitchen operations efficiently and complete tasks as directed by senior chefs.
• Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks as required.
• Help minimize waste and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.
• Foster teamwork within kitchen and service teams and adapt to varying shifts.
