Job summary

EVT Connect Hospitality is seeking a Hotel Financial Controller to oversee financial and accounting operations for a portfolio of hotels across Australia and New Zealand. You will manage monthly reporting, ledgers, and cashflow while driving process automation and efficiency.

The role partners with VP Hotel Finance, AP/AR managers, and offshore delivery teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and healthy profitability across properties.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a similar hotel finance role.
• Hotel experience is a must.
• CPA/CA qualification preferred or in progress.
• Strong communication and deadline-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly P&L and balance sheet within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain general ledger reconciliations and compliance documentation.
• Oversee payroll preparation, accuracy checks, and bank submissions.
• Collaborate with AP/AR managers to manage receivables and payables.
• Monitor cashflow and contribute to budgeting and forecasting.
• Support internal/external audits with documentation.
