Job summary

Accor is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller for Pullman East Melbourne to support the Financial Controller in managing the hotel's financial operations. You will ensure accurate reporting, statutory compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and drive financial performance.

You will liaise with department heads, develop financial systems, and assist in quarterly forecasts and supplier invoicing processes. The role requires leadership, strategic thinking, and strong commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Finance and/or Accounting.
• A minimum of 3 years’ supervision or management accounting experience in a large organisation.
• Experience with Payroll PAYG, GST, payroll Tax, Workers Compensation, BAS preparation, Accounts Payable, and Superannuation.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Department Heads to improve department profitability.
• Develop and monitor financial systems for the hotel to streamline procedures.
• Assist in preparing hotel annual budgets with Department Heads and GM.
