Job summary

WorkPac Group is recruiting for a Hot Seat Dump Truck Operator trainee on a busy Australian mine site in Queensland’s Banana Shire. You will undergo full training to operate electric dump trucks and work 8-hour shifts on a straight 7/7 roster, with local candidates only.

Requirements include residing in Banana Shire, having a valid Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain, a current Australian Driver’s Licence and right to work, and the ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test.

Qualifications

• Must reside in Banana Shire as camp & meals are not provided.
• Must have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical or be willing to attain this.
• Current Driver’s License & right to work in Australia.
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric dump trucks on a busy mine site.
• Work 8-hour shifts on a straight 7/7 day roster.
• Undergo full training to become a Hot Seat Dump Truck Operator.

Job description

Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role you will undergo full training to become a Hot Seat Dump Truck Operator on a busy mine site. You will be required to operate electric dump trucks, working 8-hour shifts on a straight 7/7 day shift only roster. These roles are available for local candidates only.

What You Will Need

• You will need to be reside in the Banana Shire as camp & meals are not provided
