Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking local Banana Shire residents for a Hot Seat Dump Truck Operator role on a busy Queensland mine site. You will receive full training to operate electric dump trucks and work eight-hour shifts on a straight 7/7 day roster, with local candidates prioritized.

Essential requirements include a current Driver’s Licence and right to work in Australia, the ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test, and willingness to obtain a Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical; accommodation is not

Qualifications

• Must reside in Banana Shire; local candidates preferred.
• Willing to obtain Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical.
• Current Driver’s Licence & right to work in Australia.
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test.

Responsibilities

About Our Client

Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role you will undergo full training to become a Hot Seat Dump Truck Operator on a busy mine site. You will be required to operate electric dump trucks, working 8-hour shifts on a straight 7/7 day shift only roster. These roles are available for local candidates only.

What You Will Need

• You will need to be reside in the Banana Shire as camp & meals are not provided
• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical or be willing to attain this
• Current Driver’s License & right to work in Australia
• The ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
