Job summary

Wishbone, coming this Spring in Melbourne's CBD, is the latest concept from Lucas Collective. We are building our team from day one and seek an experienced Host to be the first point of contact with guests, setting the tone for our premium dining experience.

The ideal candidate will have host experience in a premium venue, hands-on experience with Seven Rooms/OpenTable/Triple Seat/ResPAK, immaculate presentation, strong communication, and a valid RSA certificate.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has hosted in a premium venue.
• Experience with reservations systems such as Seven Rooms, OpenTable, TripleSeat or ResPAK is required.
• Immaculate presentation and exceptional communication.
• Demonstrated ability to exceed guest expectations.
• Adaptable and able to multi-task effectively.
• Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
• Outgoing personality with genuine interest in day-to-day operations.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• A valid RSA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for guests and set the tone of the dining experience.
• Guide guests to their seats and manage seating flow in a premium dining venue.
• Collaborate with front-of-house team to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain immaculate presentation and timely communication with guests.

About the opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Host, who will be responsible for the first point of contact with our guests. The right person will be able to set the tone for our premium dining venue with ease and go about their evening duties with confidence and style.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

• Experience as a Host in a premium venue
• Experience with Seven Rooms, OpenTable, Triple Seat, ResPAK or similar
• Immaculate presentation and exceptional communication
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding guest expectations
• Adaptable and able to multi-task effectively
• Strong work ethic and a \"can do\" attitude
• Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Availability to work a rotating roster including opening and closing shifts, weekends and public holidays
• A valid RSA certificate
